Friendly staff except for the boss who can't even say hello when he comes into the restaurant and looks you in the face. Food is good but not exceptional either.

The food is very good, but in the higher priced segment. The kitchen has received several awards for this. The guest rooms seem to be newly renovated (very good condition) and are equipped with everything you need (including WLAN). HOWEVER, THEY ARE NOT VERY LARGE, but have a balcony with seating. Due to its location in the Altmühltal, it is particularly popular with cyclists and hikers. Sufficient parking spaces and the possibility to charge e-bikes are available.

Very tasty food. My char was recovered alive from the stream and prepared directly. Service really nice, quick and courteous. Nice quiet environment and relaxed atmosphere. We were completely satisfied and would be happy to come back 👍

Very fine regional dishes with home-cut vegetables and salad. All meat and fish dishes come with a real homemade sauce, so a visit is highly recommended.

Quite a modern, nice hotel. The rooms are bright, friendly and clean. The dinner tasted good to us. The only negative point: the beers were not fully tapped! The breakfast was very good and plentiful. The staff was friendly. We recommend.

We were passing through. The landlord was rude. You felt a bit ripped off because you were offered the more expensive room. The food was good, not outstanding. At 9 p.m. you felt that you should go please .....

This inn has earned each of the 5 stars. The rooms are clean, well laid out and have a nice terrace. The shower cubicles are a bit small but not serious enough to remove a star. The real highlights were the gastronomy and the selection of snaps. In corona times, breakfast is not always expected to make a good impression, but it was really tasty and more than enough. There is a beautiful swimming lake just 1.3 km away. Gasthof Wagner is worth a visit!

Delicious food, very nice service, even with a dog felt absolutely welcome! Cozy beer garden, nice rooms with balcony, quiet and great opportunities for walks. Should only be a stopover, but we are thrilled and happy to come back!

nice stop after a great hike. Had come in the meantime, so "only" a very limited card. But very friendly service. Unfortunately no vegetarian offer, therefore "only" three stars. was still tasty and the corona restrictions are respected. So you can stop there without hesitation

Great new rooms, with high quality fittings, great bed and bathroom. Breakfast average, nothing special, but what is there was delicious. Since Monday closed, unfortunately, the restaurant could not be used in the evening. Online map sounds very good.

Beautiful room with modern wooden furniture .... very clean. Hearty breakfast too. Quiet place. I highly recommend eating at the restaurant ... we got the trout ... the best I've ever eaten in my life.

Excellent hotel with very clean and modern room. Perfect for our stay over on our way back home with our dog. The food is good and the breakfast excellent. The only negative feedback is that the room we had was a bit noisy in the morning (neighbors and outside).

It was a very nice stay. The rooms were nice and well equipped. It is particularly popular with bicycle tourists, and many have just returned. The food in the country inn tastes very good, and food is also offered that is apart from the regional cuisine. The fish offered are caught fresh. Nearby is a swimming lake (Kratzmühlsee) with a campsite, small restaurant, playground, mini golf and boat rental. You can go for a walk and swim here.

Great local food in the middle of nowhere. This is what expects you here, what I got to love sitting by childhood and I think what foreigners (including my fiance) love and value when they come here.

Absolutely lovely. Great countryside, very pleasant service and good food.
